14-DAY HOLY LAND PILGRIMAGE
IN THE FOOTSTEPS OF JESUS
A journey of Faith & Discovery through Israel & Palestine
under the experienced leadership of
Father David Weston N.D.D.
14th – 27th May 2012
It is no exaggeration that I tell you all 26 Pilgrims on my recent May 2011 Holy Land Pilgrimage expressed total satisfaction and found exactly what they wanted. A real Spiritual, Prayerful, Scriptural uplifting pilgrimage. The letters of appreciation are still coming in. What I'm offering now is an even more relaxed & restful in depth pilgrimage. I don’t offer tours, but I promise to lead you to and Bring Alive with daily Liturgies, Scriptures & Prayers in the Holy Places Jesus Knew & in the same way include some Old Testament sites. I don't offer whistle stop visits. I give adequate time to appreciate the Holy Places & private prayer time. By and large the Pilgrimage is in Biblical Chronological Order.
The Pilgrimage is clearly Roman Catholic but other keen Pilgrims from other Churches will be made very welcome. I have been enthusiastically involved in Ecumenical bridge building for over 46 years. All my Pilgrims are FIRST CLASS. We travel to the Lebanese Border & the Golan Heights in the North to the Dead Sea & Mediterranean coast. We will visit most of the major archaeological sites - whenever practical we aim to end excursions in late afternoon giving ample time to relax before dinner
There will be plenty of time for relaxation. You will experience magnificent Holy Land scenery & enjoy our carefully chosen Hotels and Guest Houses. If you feel you want a real in depth Pilgrimage this is for you.
As with all my Pilgrimages they are very comprehensive, inclusive and based at carefully selected hotel and guest house-hotels of a good 3/4 star standard with good state licensed guide, and the latest coaches and there are no hidden extras. All cost are clearly laid out on the back cover of this brochure.
You will return home with a completely new approach to your Sunday and weekday Readings. Come and enjoy the beauty and Spirituality of the Holy Land.
I have deliberately chosen these dates to appreciate the magnificent countryside & the flowers should be at their best and we will have longer hours of daylight, without it being too hot, real bonuses. I can’t guarantee the climate!
I look forward to the pleasure of your company on this great journey of
Pilgrimage, Faith and Discovery and as Jesus said “COME AND SEE”
Yours sincerely in Jesus the Christ
David J. Weston
