A 8 / 9 Day pilgrimage to celebrate the

Feast of the Transfiguration

Led by

The Revd. Rob Marshall

Writer & broadcaster

4th – 12th August 2012

Celebrating the Feast of the Transfiguration

The Transfiguration of Jesus marks a turning point in his ministry. The glimpse of his glory on the top of the mountain marks the moment when the disciples realise the immensity of Jesus' mission and hear the voice of God urging them to listen to him.

In 2012 the Feast of the Transfiguration falls on Monday the Sixth of August and Revd Rob Marshall will lead an 8-9 day summer holiday pilgrimage focussing on how an understanding of this story (see Mark 9.2-8) can help us overall in our pilgrimage through life.

We will take in all the major pilgrimage sites but will Focus on the Monday on the great Feast of the Transfiguration with a special service and dinner.
