Specialists in Christian Travel

Dear Friends in Christ:

It gives me great joy to be able to invite you, as your bishop, to join me in pilgrimage. My personal encounters with these holy places of our faith have been extremely important in my spiritual formation. I am very excited at the prospect of making this journey with you, and sharing in this time of learning and blessing together. There is another dimension to this particular pilgrimage as well: the Holy Land is comprised not only of sacred places, but of living souls. The Christian community there is facing an especially difficult challenge at this time, struggling to survive in an increasingly intolerant and violent context. This pilgrimage will have the special focus of making and strengthening connections with Christians now living there, hearing their stories, and supporting them in their ministries. A significant part of the cost of this trip will go directly to the assistance of these brothers and sisters in Christ, who at this time are in great need. Please give this opportunity your prayerful consideration. May God make it possible for us, guide us on the way, and use this pilgrimage to strengthen His Church.

Yours in the Risen Lord,

+Barry
